Write Data Into SQL Server 2008 R2.

Oct 28, 2011 at 3:04 PM

Hi,

I need to capture data from one PMU using C37.118 protocol and then store the frecuency data into a SQL Server database.

For that, i don´t know what is necessary.... i really don´t understand the configuration steps to doing that.. i mean, how to configure the adapters (Historian, Inputs,Outputs,etc...)

Can you please help me..

Thanks..

Daniel..

I would setup a "historian" with the "ADO Output Adapter", there have been several threads related to this, but here are a couple of good ones:

Note that there are many ways to get data into a database from openPDC, but most of them involve either using an existing adatper, or creating your own.

Also there is a built-in historian you can use to get data in and out as an option - although SQL Server is very handy for most simple activities.

Good luck!
