I am trying to upload the historian data to remote hadoop cluster. I have configure the hdfs-over-ftp remote machine where hadoop is running. I have installed ftp client on machine where historian data store. I am trying to upload historian data directly to hdfs but could not uploaded. I can upload the to remote local drive but could not to hdfs.

Can someone help, how i can solve this problem. is it the write permission proble?

I can write data to hdfs by bin/hadoop fs -put /user/mukhtaj/input/ coomand.
