Don't display 'Cannot connect to node host' as a popup dialog - error's inside openPDC Manager should generally be directed to status messages (message that shows up top-right then disappears).
 
Some of errors these prevent normal flow of operation inside the manager...
 
Rare exception to pop-up message might be absolute failure to save a record, for example.
