Hi all, congrats on the new version. We tested it today and are delighted with it. We have had some issues with some output streams and now everything is working fine !!

We have the OpenPDC installed on a quad core server with windows server 2008, and we have a 30 GB C: disk, and two 320 GB D: disks in hot swappable raid 1. We want to use the D: disk for the historian files. However we have not been able to do it. Where can we configure to which directory send the historian files?

Take Good Care,

Ramon Leon

Sure, first open the XML Configuration Editor (shortcut can be found in the start menu). The default historian archiver is called "DEVARCHIVE", all the sections in the XML configuration related to the this historian are prefixed with "devarchive". When you open these sections there are paths that need modification, change the paths for the following keys:

  • devarchiveArchiveFile.FileName
  • devarchiveIntercomFile.FileName
  • devarchiveMetadatFile.FileName

Once you save settings the openPDC will restart and change the path for archival.

Hope that helps!
