Deleting Device. OpenPDC SP2

Hi,

After I delete a device in OpenPDC SP2 I can see that its related measurement still exist. This generates a conflict when I need to create the same device again. it shows that there are already measurements that belong to the device I did the same test using the SP1 and immediately after I delete one device, all its measurements disappear too. I don´t know if this is a problem or if there is a different procedure in SP2 to delete completely a device.

Thanks in advance.

We will test this for Access.

As an alternative have you tried using the openPDC with SQLite? Like Access, it doesn't require any other RDBMS software to be installed. Additionally SQLite will run in 32bit and 64bit mode - Access is restricted to 32bit deployments...

We were considering deprecating Access support since it's has a tendency to be troublesome, do you prefer this database?

Thanks Ritchie,

We already changed the data base to SQL Server and it´s working smoothly.

Best regards,
