Custom Output - CSV, comma in decimal place

Jan 29, 2015 at 12:36 PM
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to use OpenPDC to export CSV file using Custom Outputs/CSV adapter.
The problem is that all decimal values are saved in the CSV file with comma instead of point in the decimal place. The problem persists even if I configure the windows environment to use English notation.
Has anyone experienced this problem. Any suggestion?

Hi jkancio,

The latest nightly build now has a feature (as of version 2.1.42) to set the default culture used by the openPDC service via the openPDC.exe.config configuration file. The default culture is en-US, which matches a typical deployment. I believe this change should fix the problem you're having with the CSV files.

Hi staphen,

I've appreciated your prompt response
The patch solved the issue and now the CSV file is being saved OK.

Thank you very, very much.
